Objectives

• Provide an interoperable framework for combining workflow environments established in the community and corresponding software tools
• Make each individual node of a chain of process steps FAIR, machine readable and reproducible.
• Ensure that a workflow or its parts defined in one environment can be analyzed or executed in/by another
• Combine workflows from different environments and/or laboratories to a “workflow of workflows”
• Application to computational and ML workflows, as well as workflows for experimental processes and SDLs
