Objectives

• MaterialsCommons Semantic Foundations (MCSF), a FAIR-compliant semantic framework with specified quality requirements, governance rules, and publication workflows providing the foundation for hosting and integrating the semantic assets developed within WP1
• Use cases conceptualisation including references to existing vocabularies and standards
• Semantic Patterns to support domain specific semantic modelling of use cases and support interoperability (e.g., of data, software, and processes) in materials science and manufacturing stored in a public repository with clear documentation and guidance and mapping with relevant domain ontologies
• Provide support to MCSF users, maintenance, adoption, and reuse of WP1 assets
